Overcoming Abuse & Violence — Free Community Resources
Victims of physical, mental and/or emotional abuse are highly at risk for developing mental health conditions especially including depression and anxiety. While therapy is an important piece of healing from abuse, there are many free community resources out there for you or those you may know going through or previously surviving abuse.

PCP SOCIAL WORKER
If children are involved their primary care physician's social worker can be of service. That is their full time job so utilize the resources they provide by contacting them directly.
UNITED WAY
Offers assistance in all different ways.
SECOND SATURDAY
This is a free divorce workshop to teach all things related to the necessary steps to get out of an abusive marriage. This free workshop includes presentations from a financial analyst, divorce lawyer, and divorce and relationship coach.
FIND A TRAUMA-INFORMED THERAPIST
Therapists can provide a safe place for victims to heal from trauma, process emotions, rebuild self-esteem and develop coping strategies.
